Theological training course for lay people 2021

  • Cost per family member: the cost per person for the entire period is 37.00= euros per day, including room and board. Children: 0 to 4 years old free, 5 to 10 years old 25% discount. The down payment is 150.00 euros per person.
  • Down payments must be sent to the Adventist Institute for Biblical Culture by July 24, 2020 by:

The 150.00 euros must not be sent to UICCA at all, nor by treasury report.

  • Accommodation. Accommodation will be in boarding schools in multiple rooms.
  • Travel expenses. The lowest cost between round-trip second-class train ticket, round-trip economy class air flight and 0.25/km car + highway will be reimbursed.
  • Course organization. The courses include four morning hours of theoretical instruction provided by teachers from the Adventist Faculty of Theology, at the end of which there will be an assessment test. Afternoons are normally free; two afternoon meetings are scheduled from 5-7 p.m. The program is subject to change due to last-minute issues.
  • Expenses borne by the trainee: teaching materials and photocopies.
  • The procedure is as follows: the home church committee of those wishing to participate in the Lay Course must take a ballot which they will then pass on to their camp chairman for approval. The camp president will be the one to pass on to the Adventist Institute for Biblical Culture “Villa Aurora” the reservation information for the course (name, mailing and e-mail address, home and cell phone).
  • Meal preparation. The Institute’s kitchen offers vegetarian meals with some vegan alternatives. It is not equipped to be able to prepare individual meals or for types of allergies or intolerances with relevant symptoms in case of contamination by such allergens, and therefore unable, for safety reasons, to prepare ad hoc meals. Anyone wishing to eat meals, however, will be welcome, with the understanding of the above.

The names + related deposits of participants and any family members must be received no later than July 24 2021.
