With Prova la FAT we are offering you a special opportunity: to spend a semester (September-January, January-June) within the Adventist Faculty of Theology at the Adventist University Institute “Villa Aurora” in the heart of Florence. This special offer gives you the opportunity to pay only the semester registration fee, excluding room and board expenses.

What you will experience during the semester:
  • Undergraduate tuition: you will participate in undergraduate courses along with regular students, taking classes that provide an opportunity to prepare you in the area of biblical theology as it is understood and lived out in the Adventist tradition, but also a solid historical and humanistic training suitable for supplementing other undergraduate study paths.
  • Campus life: you will stay in our university residence hall, sharing moments of study, friendship and community activities.
  • Personal and spiritual growth: you will participate in worship, discussions and projects that will stimulate your critical thinking and faith.
  • Immersive experience: you will live like a real college student, savoring the pace and responsibilities of academic life.
At the end of the semester, you will be free to decide whether to enroll regularly in the degree program or to stop, still taking with you a wealth of valuable experience, skills and relationships.

* It is possible to register for individual courses as auditors. You will not be required to pass any exams and there is no recognition of CFU credits from the courses taken. Cost: € 30.00 per CFU.

  • Copy of an identity document
  • Letter of recommendation from home church [document required only for Adventist students aspiring to pastoral ministry]
  • Motivational letter
  • Copy of high school diploma (or equivalent) or other university studies
  • If the diploma in the previous point was not issued by an Italian educational institution, certification from a recognized institution attesting to knowledge of the Italian language is required:
    • B1 level for the three-year degree
    • B2 level for master’s degree
  • Statement attesting to the absence or presence of illnesses of any kind/allergies/intolerances that may affect campus life, boarding school organization or kitchen meal preparation (the secretary reserves the right to request a medical certificate) [document required only of those who will live on campus].
  • Copy of health card (if already in Italy at the time of application)
