Master’s thesis discussion in religious freedom, freedom of conscience, rights and geopolitics of religions

On Monday, May 27, at the Aula Magna “Vittorio Fantoni” of theAdventist Institute of Florence, the thesis discussions of the 7 students enrolled in the second edition of the Master’s Degree in Religious Freedom, Freedom of Conscience, Rights and Geopolitics of Religions were held.

The students, having completed their classes, which began in April 2023, discussed their thesis work in the presence of the committee composed of professors: prof. Tiziano Rimoldi; prof. Marco Croce; prof. Tamara Pispisa, prof. Paolo Naso and prof. Francesco Alicino.

After hearing from all the candidates, the committee retired to deliberate the votes.
Appreciation went to all and sundry for the excellent paper produced. This was also confirmed by the high score given to all theses.

The Institute’s best wishes to the candidates and nominees for the excellent path they have taken and the achievement of the goal.

The Master’s Degree Religious Freedom, Freedom of Conscience, Rights and the Geopolitics of Religions is aimed at all those who have developed a specific sensitivity to the topics under study. In a special way, it was designed to respond primarily to professionalizing training needs for personnel employed in public administration (cultural mediators, administrative staff, prison workers) in the education system (teachers, school leaders) in health care, information. Also specially targeted are ministers of religion and administrators of the various religious denominations in Italy.

The lectures were conducted remotely with e-learning teaching, and the lecturers involved come from major public universities in Italy.

The Master’s program also received a contribution fromthe 8xmille Adventist Church, which provided scholarships for students.
