PASTORAL CARE

An introduction to the principles and practice of care and counseling
pastoral. Students will examine different methods of pastoral care and counseling from a
Biblical, theological and existential perspective. The course will examine pastoral visits, the
ministry on behalf of the sick and incarcerated as being supportive of them, and themes of
Pastoral care of families. Special attention will be given to current issues
such as bullying, child abuse, and gender-based violence. To this end, the course will make use of
