ETHICS I

An introduction to moral theories and an analysis of moral concepts of goodness,
right, and obligation, and the way they operate in society, religion, and law These
concepts will be further explored in classroom discussions of moral issues
contemporaries. Readings from selected contemporary scholars (Habermas, Jonas, John
Rawls, Hannah Arendt, Lévinas, Baumann, etc.).
