In what ways did the Awakening movements contradict the Reformation, as some suspect, and in what ways did they instead reverse and clarify it?
How much of the diverse Protestant (or evangelical) ecclesiality today is directly related to revivals, and with what salient connotations, theologically, ethically, and politically?
This is what we will talk about with all those who would like to participate in our course.
The course is structured according to scientific criteria but is not expressly designed only for a university audience. In fact, the course is open to all and sundry.
The course is open to all those interested in deepening their knowledge of the facts and biographies, hopes and fears, around which the Awakening movements that followed the Protestant Reformation came to life.
The lectures will be conducted in distance mode on an online platform and will also be available in delayed mode. At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance will be issued and, upon request, the certification of 3 training credits (CFUs) after a profit test.
Classes are scheduled on a weekly basis, totaling 20 hours. Class schedule: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. These times are subject to change depending on the availability of the trainees.
