On Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m., the “Friendly Book” series of meetings returns. The focus of this event will be Ethical Violence (Polity, 2024), the new book by Professor Carlo Bordoni of the University of Pisa. The book approaches the topic of violence through an ethical lens, exploring how it is justified and experienced in modern society. Bordoni, with his experience as a sociologist, provides a critical view of the intersections of violence, morality and politics, inviting readers to reflect on these dynamics from a contemporary perspective.
