ISLAM AND CONTEMPORANEITY
The course aims to provide an overview of the presence and contribution/influence of the Islamic religion in the world. In addition to the positive contribution made to cultural pluralism and interfaith dialogue, the sensitive issue of (pseudo) Islamic terrorism and the relationship between Islam-modernity and Islam-human rights will be addressed. At the same time, an attempt will be made to expose and define Islamophobia present in the West and also in Italy.
