CONFLICTS AND THE POLITICS OF INTEGRATION

After a methodological introduction of a geopolitological order, a first part of the course will be devoted to the analysis of some conflicts generally referred to as “identity” conflicts, whether ethnic, religious or cultural. Having carried out this analysis from concrete case studies (Israel-Palestine, Northern Ireland, South Africa …), in a second part the course will attempt to outline peace strategies and policies (policies) useful for fostering multiethnic and multireligious coexistence.
