Book Friend: “Conflictos epistemologicos entre el conocimiento científico y el religioso” by Fernando Aranda Fraga

On Friday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m., in the conference room of theAdventist Institute for Biblical Culture “Villa Aurora” (via Ellen Gould White 8, Florence), there will be a new appointment with Libro Amico, the literary review dedicated to the dialogue between faith, culture and contemporary thought.

Protagonist of the meeting will be the volume “Conflictos epistemológicos entre el conocimiento científico y el religioso” (Editorial UCEL, 2008) by Fernando Aranda Fraga, professor at theUniversidad Adventista del Plata.

The topical theme addresses the complex and fascinating relationship between scientific and religious knowledge, two fields that, while following different logics, can dialogue and enrich each other.

In dialogue with the author will be Hanz Gutierrez, lecturer at the Adventist Faculty of Theology, who will guide the audience through the main reflections of the text and the philosophical and theological implications of the epistemological debate.
